THE COKE OF THE FUTURE

Creating the first AI-inspired Coke ever.



Coke Creations Y3000 lets you taste the future. With this pitch, I helped launch a new product and a campaign that gave utopian thinking a much needed makeover.


The launch marked the first time a brand used the help of AI to develop a flavour.



Working with Virtue Worldwide, I was tasked with naming and ideation to turn this high-concept idea into a global campaign. 

Key to this was the Y3000 Cam, an AR platform that allowed people to scan their surroundings and see them reimagined through a futuristic lens. This visual world is marked by a “positive utopia”, an antidote to a prevalent pessimism about the future.

The scale of the launch peaked with a week-long takeover of the Las Vegas Exosphere, taking over the massive screen with visuals inspired by the Y3000 cam.



This launch was part of my work for Coke Creations, reinventing what Coke stands for in the 21st century - blending tech and culture with the brand’s infectious positivity.

It offered a completely new kind of brand experience and tempted an entire generation to try their first Coke. 




Overall, the campaign has had over 5 billion earned media impressions and was crowned #1 AI Activation 2023 by AdAge.
