Making Bundesliga weekends unmissable.



WOW, the streaming arm of Sky in Germany, had just secured a major rights change giving them full Bundesliga coverage. The brief was simple: let people know they've got the games all weekend long, Friday through Sunday. So basically, own the weekend.

I created two hero films in The Office-style mockumentary format, both set in WOW's world. The first takes place at the office, where an overly enthusiastic employee hypes up their weekend coverage while constantly shutting down a colleague trying to recite legal disclaimers. Proud WOW staffer vs. the boring details.



The second film moves to the studios with the same energy. Another eager employee is mid-pitch about their unbeatable Bundesliga lineup when the studio manager pitches in. Same result: shut down, because nothing's getting in the way of the weekend football message.



Both films ran across online platforms, with shorter cutdowns rolling out on social. Slightly self-deprecating, very watchable, and impossible to miss the point: WOW has your Bundesliga weekend sorted.
